FERMA is a manufacturer and a distributor that has been in business for 15 years.

In 2002, FERMA entered the New Jersey and New York flooring market by specializing in exotic woods.

In 2007, FERMA started to innovate in Exotic Hardwood products. By adding different stains on the Natural Exotic Hardwood, FERMA provides various color to fit the unique needs of customers.

In 2013, FERMA added many new products and almost doubled the size of the previous wide-range product profile. FERMA’s products include a variety of selection, including solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate flooring, luxury vinyl plank, and luxury vinyl tile. All its products are for residential usage, and some are under light commercial warranty.

In 2016, FERMA expanded a great effort in developing and distributing its kitchen cabinet product lines (traditional and contemporary series respectively) under the brand name of FERNWOOD CABINETRY.

In 2017, FERMA opened a new brand name WOOD-TEK luxury vinyl flooring. WOOD-TEK LUXURY VINYL FLOORING is an innovative collection that presents true wood looks with the durable and scratch resistant surface of distressed, scraped or embossed designs.

Throughout the years, FERMA has grown from a seed of an idea to a fruitful enterprise with well-recognized brand names (FERMA Flooring, FERMA Wood Cabinetry, Wood-Tek, Sahara Tile) and a diversified line of products. Right now, FERMA primarily designs, manufacture, import and distribute a variety of flooring products in solid hardwood, engineered hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank and luxury vinyl tile, and Kitchen Cabinets.

Nick began his career over 40 years ago designing cabinetry for beauty salons. As time progressed, he followed a new career path in real estate. Having been a broker for many years, he discovered how much he enjoyed helping clients envision home improvements. So he started a construction company concentrating on home remodeling. His talents as a designer and his ability to build relationships with people have been a winning combination in this challenging and extremely exciting industry.
